MECIUS TextReader: Read Web Page Text Aloud
MECIUS TextReader is a free Chrome add-on developed by summerroad7 that allows you to have web page text read aloud using an English text-to-speech voice. With this plugin, you can easily activate it and have the text on a webpage read aloud to you.
To use MECIUS TextReader, simply enable the plugin and highlight the desired text on the screen. The plugin provides a convenient toggle click feature to pause and resume the reading. If you want to stop the reading altogether, you can either double-click on the screen or press the stop button in the plugin.
Additionally, MECIUS TextReader also allows you to copy and paste text into its text area, making it possible to read texts in other formats such as PDFs.
